Frequently Asked Questions
Do you specialize in helping police officers / law enforcement professionals sell their homes?
Yes. I'm a retired City of Miami Police Sergeant with 27.5 years of service and over 20 years in real estate. I've worked with fellow officers, law enforcement professionals and their families, and I understand the demands of the profession firsthand. I help homeowners sell throughout Miami-Dade, Broward and the Florida Keys.
Why work with a Realtor who has a law-enforcement background?
My background gives me firsthand understanding of shift work, privacy concerns, family responsibilities and the demands of the profession. It also helped me develop practical problem-solving skills. Combined with more than 20 years in real estate, that experience shapes how I approach each client's needs.
Can you work around my shift schedule or overtime?
Absolutely. I understand that law enforcement schedules can change unexpectedly. I make an effort to accommodate my clients' availability and coordinate communication, appointments and showing arrangements around their circumstances.
How can you help protect my privacy when selling my home?
We'll discuss your concerns before deciding how to market the property. I'll help you review photography, online exposure, property access and showing procedures while considering the practical and legal requirements of the sale. Privacy and security deserve thoughtful planning.
Can I move away before my home sale is completed?
Yes. I work with sellers who are ready to relocate and prefer to move forward with their plans. I can remain your local representative, coordinate the sale and provide agreed vacant-home oversight while you're away.
Do you provide vacant-home oversight?
Yes. I provide vacant-home oversight for seller clients under our agreed arrangements. Depending on the property's needs, that can include coordinating access, showings, service appointments, upkeep arrangements and property-related issues while you're away.
Can you help me sell my home when I retire from law enforcement?
Yes. Whether you're retiring, downsizing or relocating, I can help you evaluate your home's market position and create a selling strategy that fits your timeline and next move.
What areas of South Florida do you serve?
I serve homeowners throughout Miami-Dade County, Broward County and the Florida Keys. I also assist relocating clients with connections to real-estate professionals through the Keller Williams network.
Do you also help firefighters, nurses and other first responders?
Yes. I've worked with police, fire and nursing professionals and their families. I understand that many of these professions involve demanding schedules and circumstances that benefit from a flexible, personalized approach.
Do you only represent police officers and first responders?
No. Although law enforcement is a community I know personally and serve with special understanding, I proudly represent all homeowners and buyers throughout my South Florida service areas.
Can you help me buy a home?
Yes. I represent buyers as well as sellers throughout Miami-Dade, Broward and the Florida Keys. For clients moving to other markets, I can help connect them with professionals through the Keller Williams network.
